Vancouver, September 15, 2005: The chefs from three of Greater Vancouver's finest restaurants invite you to join them throughout the month of October as they offer diners this year's annual West Coast Feasts - a special 3-course meal at a special price.
And as they do every year, they're offering up some of their best recipes to raise money for a very good cause - to help children who face debilitating intestinal and liver disorders. Recipe calendars provide a great opportunity for food lovers to learn new and delicious meal options and contribute to finding a cure for these weakening conditions.
"Drop by any one of our restaurants to pick up this beautiful keepsake recipe calendar for just $5 and the proceeds will go directly to the CH.I.L.D Foundation to help their kids in need," said Geoffrey Howes, Director of Operations of Toseki Entertainment, which operates The Salmon House, Aqua Riva and Horizons Restaurant.
"This collaboration between CH.I.L.D. and Toseki will initiate needed research dollars in our search for a cure," said Grace McCarthy, Chairman of the Board of CH.I.L.D. "We thank everyone who purchases a calendar, and with these wonderful recipes from top of the line chefs, it will be a bonus for all". President of the CH.I.L.D. Foundation, Lindsay Gordon adds, "We appreciate the support from Toseki and from all who purchase a calendar".
The three restaurants will feature an excellent selection of three-course menu options for the month of October, highlighting the best of West Coast cuisine, for just $27 per person. Guests may go online to view the 3-course menu options.
