Your username can be anything you choose - the standard on most systems is the first letter of your first name followed by your last name in all lowercase (this is what the system will create for you automatically if you leave the field blank during signup)

In general we do not recommend using your email address as this makes your email address publically visible to everyone. Instead choose something else, like the standard mentioned above, or your company name as your username.
